George & Eric

Like all parents as your kids start to grow bed time stories are demanded & like a lot of other people you can only read "The Big Book of (boring) Bedtime Stories" so many times so to make things more interesting for reader & listener alike suddenly Little Red Riding Hood turns into an axe wielding homicidal maniac & The Three Little Pigs taste good with mushrooms.

The second alternative demanded of you is to use your imagination & make it up as you go along, easier said than done, who said kids don't spot continuity errors or ask questions about the hidden agenda of that little green man.

From these desperate "and then, and then" meanderings, George & Eric were born, I suppose its a relatively simple story line, little fish meets big fish, opposites attract etc, hell it works for Hollywood so why not for bed time stories.

Even as Blythe & Zac have grown older, now eleven & nine respectively, George & Eric have not been forgotten, Zac still eats with relish a Eric sandwich, bacon & raw mushroom, whilst Blythe prefers a George sandwich, bacon & cooked mushroom, so it was that the idea of writing some of their adventures down for posterity was born, & hey you never know, they might be the next Thomas the Tank Engine.
